Pronunciation: /ˈtɪʃ(ə)na/ from the Italian painter Tiziano Vecellio. The most important painter of the Venetian school, he experimented with vivid colours and broke conventions of composition. He painted many mythological works, including Bacchus and Ariadne (circa 1518–23).

Tiziana holds a Master in History of Art and a Specialisation Master in Curation and Management of Art institutions from the University of Bologna. Prior to moving to the UK, she worked for the Italian Government advising on its medieval assets in Rome and Southern Italy. Since moving to London, Tiziana has worked at a number of commercial galleries dealing in antiquities, contemporary and modern art. When Tiziana isn't working, you can usually find her in a gallery or museum, pointing her camera at unsuspecting pieces.
